Most of people who lives in Japan for a long time can answer that the most highest mountain in Japan is Mt. What is the 2nd highest mountain in Japan ?

As everyone know, the most highest mountain in Japan is Mt. Fuji and it’s 3776.24m.  Mt. Fuji was registered as world Cultural Heritage in 2013. The 2nd highest mountain is 奥穂高岳 (Okuhodaka-dake) , it’s a mountain that straddles the Nagano prefecture and Gifu prefecture. The highest is 3190m.  If we try to go to the top, it takes around 17 hours to arrive so the climbing is very hard for people who has just started climbing the mountain.
The people who try to climbing Mt. Fuji, but if you like climbing, let’s try to climb Mt. Okuhodake too someday !
