Have you ever heard “Ochugen” ? Ochugen is the Japanese summer gift. In Japan, we have a cultural tradition of sending gift in mid and end of year, a seasonal greeting. It call “Ochugen” and “Oseibo, send gifts to our business clients, relatives and doctors (teachers) etc to show appreciation for their kindness during the year. The period to send the gift is a little bit difference based on each area, the period is from first of July to end of August in general. We usually send sweets, fruits and drink and the budget is around 3,000～10,000 JPY. If you live in Japan, please try to send it to your important people !
