Visit “Asakusa Hanayashiki”, the oldest amusement park in Japan

Asakusa Hanayashiki is the oldest amusement park in Japan, which opened as a flower park in 1853. The atmosphere is very retro-inspired of Showa.

 

When you go to the west side from main building of Senso-ji temple, “Hanayashiki street” is in front of you!

 

There are 2 tips to make the admission fee free for Asakusa Hanayashiki.

 

1. Free Entrance Service

 

If you are going to Asakusa Hanayashiki after visiting Tokyo Skytree, your admission fee will be free by showing the staff your Skytree ticket.

This service is only until May 21st!

 

2. BBQ ticket

 

BBQ Garden is open every day, and you can even enjoy in rainy day.

If you make a reservation by the previous day, you will get free- admission fee!

 

The price of BBQ is following:

Lunch: 2,500JPY (60 minutes)

Happy Time (5-6:30pm): 4,300JPY (90 minutes/Free drink)

Dinner: 4,800JPY~(120 minutes)

 

If you decide to have BBQ, you should make a reservation in advance!

 

 

Usually, admission fee is 1,000JPY and required to pay upon entrance.

 

It is a good deal if you can make it free!
