In 2017, a new store has been opened in Asakusa following the Ikebukuro store, Kyoto store, Fukuoka store “BOOK AND BED TOKYO”. According to the staff, even though there are a lot of hotels in Asakusa area, they want to open a new 「BOOK AND BED TOKYO」which is realized as “a business hotel for travelers”. It seems that the place suited to that theme was found in Asakusa as a final result of searching for many years.

The concept of “BOOK AND BED TOKYO” is “A bookshop to stay” but they do not sell books. On the contrary, it is not a comfortable environment, such as a soft mattress or a low-resilience pillow. The environment they want to create is a hotel in which you can fall asleep while watching a movie, reading book or texting to someone. In summary, it will be the place you can fall asleep while doing your favorite things.
